Mondrian’s Room aims to bring important international art and photography to Ireland, and to expose Irish audiences to artworks otherwise not seen or collected here.

As art is very personal, we believe in creating a friendly, non-intimidating environment in which anyone is free to see, learn, discuss and collect the artworks on view. We encourage dialogue and are delighted to open people’s minds to artworks, periods, mediums or ideas you may never have encountered before.

Created in June 2008, Mondrian’s Room is an Art Gallery and Consultancy created by

                                         Fiona Bailey             and             Aebhric Coleman.

Previously, Fiona has lectured in art history at Queens University Belfast, and worked at

the National Gallery Ireland and Sotheby’s International, together with freelance writing and

consultancy on art and architecture.

Aebhric has worked on contemporary art exhibitions and sales over 15 years with international museums and galleries including the Louvre, Pompidou, Tate Modern, Documenta, Museum Ludwig, MACBA, and Dia Center. In addition to his activities for Mondrian’s Room, Aebhric is currently working on a large exhibition project with the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid, Spain, scheduled to open in 2012.
